Parker and Otis is a specialty food store located in historic downtown Durham, NC.

We are open seven days a week, serving breakfast and lunch with basic groceries, gourmet foods, cheese, wine and candy.

We value fresh local ingredients and use them whenever possible. Every breakfast is prepared with eggs from Latta’s Egg Ranch in Hillsborough and dairy products from Homeland Creamery in Julian, NC. Our sandwiches are made with bread baked fresh daily at the Rue Cler Bakery on Main St. At our full service coffee bar, we have partnered with Durham coffee roasters Counter Culture Coffee to bring you the best roasted coffee beans and artisanal coffee drinks around.

In our gourmet section we stock many other local NC delicacies, such as Salem Baking Company Moravian Cookies from Winston-Salem and Goodness Gracies Toffee Cookies from Wilmington. Here you will also find hundreds of candy and gourmet food items from all over the world – from cutting edge haute chocolat to your favorite candies from days gone by.

We carry over 250 wines every day, making our selections based on value and what we like to drink. Did you love that bottle of wine you had out the other night? Chances are we have it here at Parker and Otis or we can special order it for you.
